Kaskus is an Indonesian internet forum site which claims itself as the largest Indonesian online community. It ranks as the 6th most popular website in Indonesia[weasel words] and is one of two local sites in the top 10 (detik.com at 9th), positioning at 241 worldwide according to Alexa.com. It was established on November 6, 1999, by three Indonesian students (Andrew Darwis, Ronald Stephanus, and Budi Dharmawan) in the United States. As of April 22, 2010, Kaskus has more than 1,620,000 registered accounts. In August 2005 and September 2006, PC Magazine Indonesia voted Kaskus as The Best Indonesian communities twice (2005 & 2006). Registration is required for new users to participate in the community, and every registered member has the privilege to access more than twenty sub-forums on various subjects. The community runs on the vBulletin forum software.

WEB/GRAPHIC DESIGNER (WD/GD)
Requirements:

  • Excellent design skill with impressive Portfolio
  • Able to adapt to various design styles
  • Able to convert design into XHTML and CSS
  • Understand Flash, ActionScript & Jquery
  • Familiar with pre-press procedures and printing process


WEB PROGRAMMER (PP)
Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Science or Informatics
  • Expert in PHP and MySQL
  • Understand AJAX, XHTML and CSS well
  • Understand Frameworks is a must
  • Understand NoSQL Database such as MongoDB


MOBILE DEVELOPER (JP)
Requirements:

  • S1 in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Min. 2 years of hands-on Java programming knowledge
  • Working knowledge of J2ME, XML, RSS and AJAX
  • Understand OOP and Unix/Linux system
  • Experience in Mobile Application and/or platform development (iOS, RIM, Android)
  • Familiar with JavaScript, Internet Protocols and Wireless Networks (3G, CDMA, UMTS)


CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR (CSS)
Requirements:

  • Having hands-on experience for Min. 2 years and managing team of call center agents
  • Having strong understanding of the call center concepts, organizations and tools
  • Familiarity with providing call center services for Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and/or financial industry solutions is a plus
  • Having good analytical problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia both oral and written
  • Having pleasant personality with smiling voice would be considerable
