Compensation and Benefit Manager

Surabaya (Jawa Timur)

Responsibilities:
1) Responsible to ensure that the company remuneration practices remain competitive and attractive in the market. This includes the following :
a) Provide recommendations on action and strategy, to ensure the company stays in line with the market, and remain a competitive and attractive employer.
b) Responsible to lead annual salary surveys and benchmarking with the market. This includes processing of data calculations in the process of analyzing our trend-lines and remuneration spread.
c) Continuously monitor market and government regulations and ensure that management is well updated about any changes in labor laws relating to wages, salaries issues or any compensation matters that may or may not affect labor and employee productivity, and recommend necessary actions to maintain productivity, market competitiveness and industrial relation stability.
d) Annually review and recommend company compensation structure based on the above items.
2) Review current pay & reward system, and provide recommendations to improve / change said systems to further drive employee performance towards improving their productivity.
3) Responsible for properly managing, implementing and administering the remuneration system of the company. This includes the following :
a) Overseeing and provide recommendations on remuneration changes in compliance with corporate guidelines and company remuneration structure. This includes coordinating, managing and implementing routine annual salary increases.
b) Coordinate administration of salaries &benefits with Payroll. This includes providing instructions to payroll.
c) Administer routine remuneration and benefit issues (e.g., medical, leave, etc)
4) Communicating Compensation Issues to the employees, such as during the Bipartit employee meetings (or any other Industrial Relation type meetings or communication sessions).
5) Responsible to annually review, maintain, or determine evaluation of position classes (job evaluation), for any changes or newly created positions.
6) Recommend, implement and maintain employee grading system of the company.

Requirements:
1. University degree, majoring in Psychology, Economics, Law, Industrial Engineering or any other discipline with minimum 5 years experiences in Compensation & Benefit area in a reputable company
2. Experience in managing compensation and benefit issues, handling salary surveys, designing salary & remuneration structures, and payroll
3. Good knowledge of position evaluation systems and salary structures
4. Good written and verbal communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
5. Willing to be placed in Surabaya
