In FY2004, we formulated “Action Guidelines” that identify cases showing these principles of action from a compliance standpoint, and strive to disseminate them across all our associates.


Unicharm Corporation was founded in 1961 with capital of 3 million yen and 24 employees, in Kawanoe-city (now Shikoku Chuo-city), Ehime Prefecture.

Today, there are more than 6,000 people working within the Group, and its activities have widened to encompass not only Japan but also other countries, mainly Asia but also the Middle East, Europe and regions around the world.

In spite of the changes, Unicharm has cultivated a corporate culture and spirit called the Three DNAs, which have been passed down since its inception.

The Three DNAs represent Unicharm's values, which support the company's activities at its root, and which are shared by everyone from senior management to each one of its employees.

This thought marked the fist step for Unicharm.

Starting with the manufacture and sale of feminine napkins, our company commenced business as a manufacturer of feminine care products.
Since then, we have been industry leaders and pioneers, developing numerous unique technologies and products.

Relying on the processing and forming technologies for non-woven fabrics and absorbent materials developed in our feminine care products, we have expanded our businesses to encompass baby and child care, health care, household and other products. Our scope continues to broaden as a company supporting the lives of people engaged in child rearing, nursing care and housework.

There are "Three DNAs" representing the values common across the entire company, which have been developed and passed down since its inception.
With a future-oriented perspective, we at Unicharm will continue to take on new challenges.

The Unicharm Group promotes sound corporate management guided by our corporate ideal of pursuing proper corporate management principles. This combines corporate growth, associate well-being and the fulfillment of our social responsibilities.

In June 1999, we introduced an executive officer system to facilitate the swift execution of operations and clarify executive responsibility and authority. In 2004, we launched the Schedule-Action-Performance-Schedule (SAPS) Plan, which concluded our past management methods and emphasized our principle of respecting human life and dignity and obtaining a sense of achievement. We are promoting operations based on a system of concentrating time and energy on priority issues by setting clear management targets. Ultimately, the Group is endeavoring to improve efficiency in the execution of the directors' functions.

The Board of Directors meets once a month to hold substantive discussions and deliberate on significant issues related to the execution of operations at an executive level. These meetings also provide directors with an opportunity to analyze the Company's progress towards its management targets, as well as a forum in which to resolve any management issues.

Unicharm's current governance structure consists of eight directors, twenty one executive officers (seven of whom hold concurrent positions as directors), and four corporate auditors, including two external auditors. (As of July 6, 2011)

Sales Training Manager

  • Male, age 35-40 years.
  • Minimal S1 with the appropriate disciplines (Management, Marketing and Industrial Engineering).
  • Having minimum 5 years experience as Sales Training Manager in consumer goods company.
  • Have excellent ability in making presentations, communication, problem solving and leadership.
  • Can create and prepare a work plan (action plan)
  • Able to perform analysis on the achievement of sales by channel, distribution & Sales Team effectiveness of work
  • Being able to do development on the ability of the Sales Team & product knowledge.
  • Able to negotiate with the Distributor or Sales Team UCI team & work well with the Distributor and Sales Team.
  • Ms master. Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and can speak English both oral and written well.


Assistant Brand Manager (ABM)
Jakarta Raya
Requirements:
Male / female.

  • Age between 26-33 years.
  • Minimal S1, in the appropriate disciplines (Management, Marketing).
  • Having minimum 2 years experience in marketing consumer goods company.
  • Having the experience to create a sales plan and product design.
  • Have strong market power analysis.
  • Mastering the application of 3C, 4P, SWOT analysis in marketing.


Marketing Research Supervisor
Jakarta Raya
Requirements:

  • Male / Female
  • Age max. 30 years.
  • Minimal S1, in an appropriate discipline (Statistics, Management, Marketing and Industrial Engineering).
  • Having minimum 3 years experience as a Marketing Research in consumer goods company.
  • Have strong market power analysis.
  • Mastering the application of 3C, 4P, SWOT analysis in marketing.


HRD Legal - Asst. Manager
Karawang (Jawa Barat))
Requirements:

  • Male / female.
  • Age max. 35 years.
  • Minimal S1, in the appropriate disciplines (law).
  • Having minimum 5 years experience as a Legal Supervisor or 3 years as a Legal Asst. Manager in consumer goods company.
  • Having a good knowledge of the Regulations of the Company (Company Law, Foreign / Domestic).
  • Having the ability to handle the company's license (TIN, SIUP, TDP & Domicile, Ministry of Trade requirements, Company Regulation) and have excellent capabilities in designing or drafting corporate agreements.




Interpreter (Japanese)
Karawang (Jawa Barat)
Requirements:

  • Male / female.
  • Age between 22-30 years.
  • Minimum D3, in the appropriate disciplines (Japanese Language, Management, Industrial Engineering).
  • Having minimum 3 years experience as a Japanese interpreter in the consumer goods company.
  • Having the ability to speak Japanese with a certificate of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) at least level N2.


Internal Audit - Asst. Manager
Karawang (Jawa Barat)
Requirements:

  • Man.
  • Age max. 35 years.
  • Minimal S1, in the appropriate disciplines (Accounting).
  • Having minimum 5 years experience as an Internal Audit Supervisor or 3 years as an Internal Audit Asst. Manager in consumer goods company.
  • Having a good knowledge of the Financial Report, Internal Audit and Internal Control, and J-Sox & IFRS.


Area Sales Supervisor (U.S. - Supervisor)
East Java, West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan
Requirements:

  • Man.
  • Age max. 28 years.
  • Minimal S1, in the appropriate disciplines (Management, Marketing and Industrial Engineering).
  • Having minimum 3 years experience as Area Sales Supervisor.
  • Experienced in sales & distribution of goods.
  • Having the ability to manage the General Trade (Key Account & Traditional Market).
  • Can create and prepare a work plan (action plan) and sales targets.
  • & Responsible for managing sales through distributors.


Candidates on all the positions should be actively master English and MS Office.
